From book "Stuart and Allied families," p. 122.Isaac Richardson, the founder of the family in America, was born, perhaps in Lancashire, England and died in PA in 1726.His will was recorded at Whiteland, Chester Co. PA.It was dated Oct. 14, 1726 and proved Nov. 12, 1726.Named in his will were his wife, Katherine, son Jehu, and daughters Mary, Elizabeth, Eleanor, and Martha.
The family must have came to America around 1714 when Katherine had a certificate of removal from Franly MM, Cheshire, England.
