In 1763, at the age of 27, Peter Moll secured a grant of land of 200 acres in what was then Rowan County, on the South Fork of the Catawba River adjoining the land of Henry Weidner and of Fisher.An additional 424 acres of land was granted to him on april 28, 1768.[B. Peter Mull constructed and dam and a water powered mill on his property.On January 14, 1786, Peter and wife, Barbara sold the land to John Gross, who in 1791 sold the land to John Coulter.[B.
