I am interested in finding relatives.
I am also interested in tracing back the Ernest V. Richards lineage to eighteenth century England and further back, if possible. His grandfather was Charles Richards (1802-????), who married Ann Wainwright on Oct. 19, 1825.Charles' parents were James Richards and Mary Roberts (married March 29, 1798 in the Parish of Woodstock.)
I am also interested in finding the roots for my Mother's family, the Travis Edward Russell family. These roots extend back into Montgomery County, NC and "prior" England? Ireland?Scotland? Travis' parents were Edward and Dovey Harris Russell. We think that Edward's father was named James Russell.
I am also interested in locating a will, or land records to prove my great-grandmother's (Dovey Harris Russell)connection to her father, Green(e) Harris, to the end that I might be able to become a member of the DAR. Green(e) Harris was the son of West Harris, Jr., a revolutionary soldier from Montgomery Co. NC.
I am interested in finding a source in England, for locating wills, cemetery info, land/business dealings, church records regarding my ancestors. My great-grandfather ran a printing business at 104 High St. in Oxford. His name was William John Richards (1836-1919).I would love to learn the maiden name of his second wife, affectionately known as Annie M.
I would also like to find out the relationship of Annie Richards Busk (wife of Sir? Arthur Frederick Busk)to William John.
Lastly I would like to explore my husband's family of Katz. His grandfather was Meyer Katz (married Minnie Katz) who came over to America (Selma, AL) from the Ukraine right after the turn of the 20th century.Any suggestions on how to obtain information in the Ukraine would be most welcome.
Any information is so welcome and so appreciated. I would also be willing to share what I have.
