Like many people, I realized much to late how important it is to leave behind the memories, stories, pictures and to put them down on paper before my parents and grandparents pasted on.....so I must dig piece by piece...to retrack their steps. One of the things that sparked my interest in starting this project was a museum in Eastern Washington were I found this poem: I lived here in the long ago You do not know my name But you have found my arrowheads and fossil bones the game The broken points I left behind The bones I tossed aside And cast by the seas of time I vanished with the tide Call it the irony of fate But there alone remain That tell the tale of ancient man Whom roamed this western plain I lived and hunted, loved and died.. The story of my day Is told not by my treasures, but By what I threw away. by Gene Lindberg Names found in our tree are as follows: Nickerson,Lawciaux,Scott,Rogers,Pugh,McGoldrick,Hendrickson,Keans
