This is the HENDERSON, ALEXANDER, WINKLER,WINCKLER, REDFORD family history of central Texas.I have traced my lineage back to the mid 1700's. If anyone has information they would like to share or update the information on this page, please email me. Below you will find links to geneology reports of my ancestors. There is a link that details the Winckler/Winkler immigration to America from Germany. In the early 1700's it was illegal for Germans to immigrate to America so Conradus Winckler and his wife Kunigunda Steinhart moved to Switzerland and lived there for several years. While in Switzerland they added to their family four boys: Hans Jacob, Thomas, Martin, and Conrad.Nothing is known of the brothers except for Hans Joannes Jacobus Winckler (Hans Jacob).Hans Jacob, Thomas, and Conrad were the original Winckler's that immigrated to America on the shipboat Neptune in 1753.They landed at the Port of Pennsylvania and headed south into northern North Carolina. Many generations have came from this line of Winckler/Winkler family, my children being the thirteenth generation since Conradus and Kunigunda Winckler.
