The information here is far from complete. I honestly just wanted to get something on the internet and out there. My family came from Germany, or Germany via Ireland in the 1700's. Other family lines came through Canada and England. The Keely family I am part of came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From there they moved westward through Pennsylvania to the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Most of my recent family history is from that area. The area includes Cincinnati, Oxford, and Harrison, Ohio; and Bright, Logan and Shelbyville, Indiana. Other family moved through Michigan, and dispersed to the Southeast, West and NorthWest.
I am always interested in hearing from others searching the same names. I don't always have time to do what I would like, but I try to keep up with it.
The following names show up in my family histories on my father's side: KEELY, KIELE, KEELEY, BECK, WIEDERECHT, HOPPING, TALKINGTON, GROVES, SNYDER, SMELLEN, CRESSWELL, STILLENGER/STILLINGER, MILLER, SCHROYER, ADAIR, WELLS, CONE, LATHROP, DOLLAHAN, IDDINGS, SNYDER.
On my mother's side, the following family histories show up: PAYLER, BUER, POWERS, KLEINBERG,FLAAGE, SCHOETTINGER, STUNTEBECK, SCHLEIMER, HARLEY, ADAMS/ADDAMS, YOST, TAVELIN.
I'm sorry these aren't in neat alphabetical order, but if a combination of these match up, we might have somebody in common. I look forward to hearing from you.
