I have been researching and compiling data on the descendants of Hans Jakob "KIßLING" KISSLING, my 11TH Great Grandfather for over thirty-five years. He was born in Winterlingen, Wuerttemberg, Germany in 1551. I have over 35,000 descendants of Hans Jakob in my Family Tree Maker files. Please refer to "Outline Descendant Tree" found below. Most of the descendants derive from the two immigrant 5th great grandsons, Hans Jacob II, and Johann Georg [George]. They were the sons of Hans Jacob and Ursula Katharina HERTER Kissling of Truchtelfingen, Balinger Amt., Wuerttemberg, Germany. Hans Jacob and Johann Georg "KIßLING" KISSLING arrived in the American Colonies on the ship Fane at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 17 October 1749. The descendant surnames include the variant spellings of KIßLING, KEASLING, KEESLING, KEISLING, KESLING, KISLING and KISSLING. Areas of research include Germany, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Kansas, Texas, Iowa, Missouri and many other states. I'm also, researching and compiling records on my wife's side of our family. This includes Kilby, Hitt, Brown, Wayland and their related family ancestries. Refer to "My Family History" found below. Along with my other ancestral lines that include surnames Duncan, Hale, Darr, Howell, Michael, Orem, Scott, and many others. Any help in this endeavor will be highly appreciated. I welcome any and all contacts. I'm more than willing to share what information I have. I welcome any and all inquiries. If you are interested in obtaining more information such as burial, occupational, residence, military, official records, and references on any of the persons found in my “Descendant Trees.” Please contact me by E-mail. Furnish me with your kinship and lineage material such as dates, spouses, children, etc., to a particular person or persons and I will make up a full text family history report including your records and send it back to you within 7 to 10 days. I am continually looking for new contacts, new lineages, reference sources, corrections and additions. Willing to share my collection with anyone willing to exchange and share their family information.
