I began my genealogy quest with the hope of tracing my Irish heritage to some quaint village in Ireland inhabited with lots of long lost cousins. I found instead that my Irish lines seemed to vanish after only a generation or two. On the other hand, my English lines could be traced in some cases to the 1300's! As my research evolved, I became interested in history and found myself unable to stop looking "back". My research is always "in progress" and I cannot imagine ever really being finished. My children tease by inquiring if I've made it back to Adam and Eve yet! I wonder if it's possible to get past Noah? There are bound to be errors in my research. I still have much verifying ahead of me. Most of my information was pulled from internet sites with family lines that closely match my own. I am primarily researching the following names: KELLEY, BALDWIN, BARNES, DENISON, COOK, BOLLING, EPLING, DEARING, MOORMAN AND HOLDREN. I am willing to share and would appreciate additional information or corrections. I am dedicating my book and home page to my Grandfather, William Denison Kelley. He layed the foundation of my work by providing me with his considerable research. To "GrandDaddy Bill", Who instilled in me a love for family and for history. From a proud granddaughter, Bridget Kelley-Dearing
