John was a painter and decorator in Easingwold and had five children. His only son Thomas William lived in Chapel Lane until 1896 and then moved to Leeds. He married Maria Elizabeth Coates of Kilburn 27.May 1882 at Horbury Methodist Chapel,Wakefield. My grandfather William Herbert was their son.
An Edward Sadler younger, born 1788 also farmed at Boscar, Raskelfbetween 1788 and 1803 and probably longer. The property was mentioned in the wills of Christopher Allenson and his son in law Edward Sadler elder. A link to this branch is being sought.
Maria Elizabeth Sadler nee Coates also boasted links to Herbert Beerbohm Tree. Her living Grandchildren have knowledge of this but I have been unable to verify.
