I am updating the family-trees of the families mentioned above. These families all originate from, and still live in, a small Danish island in the Baltic Ocean, Bornholm.
The 2 books I have were finished and published in 1920.
The original titles of the books are "The Family-trees of the Jochumsen and Schou families" and "The Family-tree of the Dahl family"
The Koefoeds have their own seperate books "The Koefoed-family" vol. A and B.
I descend from people like Mads Jensen Koefoed, born approx. 1450, Jens (Pedersen) Koefoed "the Liberator", born abt. 1620 - Jochum Tønnesen Müller, died 1590 - Hans Mahler Schou, born 1793, died 1864 - Rasmus Knudsen, born about 1720.
Here are some of the surnames of people listed in the books:
Andersen, Anker, Bendiksen, Bendtsen, Blem, Bohn, Brandt, Dam, Funch, Hald, Hermansen, Hansen, Holm, Ipsen, Kaas, Kjøller, Koefoed, Kofod, Kofoed, Larsen, Marcher, Mortensen, Munch, Nielsen, Olsen, Pedersen, Pihl, Riis, Sassersen, Schou, Westh, Wibe.
If you should happen to know any of these people as one of your ancestors, you are very welcome to contact me. I'll be more than happy to include you and your relatives in the family-tree, and mail you a copy of the new, updated book - or email the file in GEDCOM- or RTF-format.
I'll need the names of at least your grandparents and great-grandparents, to determine whether we're related or not.
You can search yourself at my homepage, which for the time being contains approx. 8,500 people (URL is below).
My Australian great-great-grand cousin Michael Edward Kofod has already uploaded a part of our family-tree to FTM.
You are very welcome to contact him aswell.
