A list of 39 [sic] of the 50 servicemen in Wood county who lost their lives in the late war has been compiled bythe local post of the American legion [sic]. The adjutant of the post is working hard to secure the remaining namesas it has been decided to make this list a part of the permanent record of thepost and enroll their departed comrades as honor [sic] members of the post.
Thenames were originally secured for the memorial service to be held Sundayafternoon when the French Memorial Diplomas will be distributed to the next ofkin of the deceased soldiers, which includes the names of soldiers, sailors andmarines of Wood county.
