My Lafferty family starts with John Lafferty(b.1821) arriving in Canada in the early 1830's. In Jan. 25 1846 he married Catherine Doran(b.August 25 ,1824)at St.Micheals Catholic Church in Belleville Ont.,Canada . They had eight children.
