Agnes Sommerville Marshall Robertson Young left Cape Breton at the age of 18 and went to the Women's General Hospital to train as a nurse.She worked at the Jewish General Hospital where we were all born.In later years she worked at the Reddy Memorial Hospital as a Case Room Nurse. Later she became Assistant Director of Nursing until retirement.

The marriage of Agnes Robertson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Young of Little Bras d'Or, West, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, to Mr. William James Wheeler, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Wheeler, of Montreal, is taking place tomorrow afternoon at four o'clock in Verdun United Church, Woodlands Avenue, Verdun.Miss Young is a graduate of the Women's General Hospital, and has been on the staff of the Jewish General Hospital since graduating.
The reception menu listed, celery & olives, nuts & mints, assorted sandwiches, ie: chicken, ham, tongue, egg rolls, ribbon sandwiches, celery rolls, nut rolls, etc., cheese straws, dainty assorted cakes, ie: miniature lemon sponges, cream puffs, custard filled eclairs, tarts, drop cakes and iced cakes iced to harmonize with any color scheme desired.Ice cream, petit fours, coffee or tea.The prices for the above were 50 guests or over will be 50 cents person, and 55 cents per person for less than 50 guests.
