The one name study above is about 2 years old and is registered with the Guild Of One-Name Studies (category C).
I am collecting all references to the surnames in the title, and for all the variations in spelling I can think of or find (and there are many !).
Most of the genealogical information is late 18th century and 19th century, but the study is not restricted to those times. The study is worldwide, although most of my information is for the UK. However, I'll take on any queries. With luck, its a case of "if I don't know, I probably know someone who does".
I'm also tracing my own family tree, which includes the surnames LARN/LAWN, GOATLEY, SMITH, SKINNER, JARMAN, GRACE, BULLARD, COTTENDEN, ROBJANT, CURNOW, SEABROOK and HAMMOND.
Any information would be appreciated and I am willing to share the information I have.
