|I am currently tracing my great grandfather John Lisee who I believe came from Quebec to Troy N.Y. in the 1870"s. From Troy N.Y. the family moved to Marine City, Mi.|
My great uncle Nap Lisee was the designer and engineer responsible for making the many Miss America racing boats of the 1920's - 1930's as well as many other boat models for Gar Wood. His race boats won and retained the International Harmsworth Trophy for water speed racing every year the event was run.
