This project began as a by-product of the Schenck FamilyReunion scheduled for Las Vegas in October and has snow balled into a family history that includes (as of April 5, 2006) 799 individuals, 185 marriages, 16 generations, and 191 surnames.
I have concentrated on the history of each family and, because of lack of documentation, have relied on the Internet Research Services. I hope that by publishing my findings, each person viewing their family history will provide updates, corrections, or suggestions to support or change the current data.

Update -4/24/06Thanks to Janice Lestrud, information on the Schenck Family has been updated and corrected.
Update - 5/01/06Mostly updates on the Logan, Geolz, Till Family with Immigration information. Still trying to trace Susanne Schenk (Married to Joseph Till). Susan Till entered the US 26 April 1869 in Baltimore and took a train to Saint Louis with three children (Edward, Frank, and Mary Ann)to join her husband.
Update - 5/29/06Thanks to the help of Terri,a researcher living in Siever County, Arkansas, I believe we have found my fathers parents (Thomas J. Logan and Mattie Polk), grandparents (Sylvanius Logan and Gilla Ross), and great grandparents (Thomas and Nancy) I will continue to research and will post updates as they become avaiable.
I am also researching Ina Maude Beaubien, wife of Kenneth DeLapp. Ina will be 100 in December and lives in Long Beach, California. Ina is origionally from Ash Creek, Rock County, Minn.
Update- 10/14/06The Reunion is history. Sheryl & I were so pleased that so many could attend.We will be adding photo'sand history to the family tree. Thepictures from the Reunion will be posted at the main sight - richsherl.comin the next couple of days. Thanks again to all that could make it. Preliminary plans call for next years Reunion to be held in Nebraska.
