|I am researching the LOMAN family history. The farthest back I can find are George (1819) and Barbara (1822) Loman. From there, the line includes Jerry P. Loman (b. Feb. 4. 1855), Richard Chalmer Loman (b. Mar. 12, 1889 in Greensboro, N.C.), Cleve Edgar Loman (b. May 25, 1909 in High Point, N.C.) and then my dad, Cleve Edgar Loman Jr. (b. July 29, 1933 in Salisbury, N.C.) The family also includes the Beck, Cain, Kelly, Byerly, Bolton and Jenkins names.|
I am also searching for information on the BROWN family from Davidson County, N.C. I know that James Findlay Brown (b. April 13, 1881 in Birmingham, Ala.) married Mary Brodie (b. Aug. 20, 1880 in Ayr, Scotland). James Findlay Brown Jr. (b. Aug. 15, 1909 in Wylam, Ala.) married Anna Lee Raker (b. Dec. 26, 1905) and they lived in Lexington, N.C., where my mother, Janet Lee, was born June 1, 1933.
Any information you have would be appreciated, and I will be glad to share what I have.
