Karl Wilhelm Friedrich, born in 1839 in Petersdorf, Schleisen, Germany. He came to Minnesota in the early 1860's, where he served as a Lutheran minister. He married Wilhelmina Kahler, who was born in 1848 in Macomb County, Michigan. They had thirteen children: John, Elnora, Theodora, Marie, Friedrich, Louise, Maria, Martin, Walter, Edwin, Martha, Johanna and Lydia.
Johann Gottlob Hertwig, born in 1749 in Hainichen, Saxony, Germany. He married Johanna Dorothea Morganstern, born April in 1767 in Lagenstriegis, Germany. They had a son, August Friedrich Hertwig, born in 1785.
Friedrich August Hertwig, born in 1844 in Hainichen, Saxony, Germany; married Elizabeth Maschger, born 1842 in Sauer, Indiana. They settled in Gaylord, Minnesota and had six children: August, Elizabeth, Emma, Clara, Fredrick and Christine.
Ludwig Wilhelm Isler, born in 1831 in Lauenberg, German, married Charlotte Ulrich, born in 1836. They settled in Detroit, Michigan sometime between 1863 and 1866, with their children: Bertha, Julius, Ferdinand, Ludwig, Selma, Ida and Emma.
August Trosien, born in 1855 in Germany; married to Minnie, born in 1857; had three children: Herman, Fredrick and Emma; settled in Detroit, Michigan between 1882 and 1887. Herman Trosien was born in Germany; Fredrick and Emma were born in Detroit, Michigan.
Robert D. Low, born in 1828 in Scotland; settled in Kansas; died 1881 in Nortonville, Kansas; married Martha M., born 1822 in Scotland. Their chilren were John, Agnes, J.H., C.D., and R.D.
Louis Darwin Waters, born in 1868 in Knoxville, Iowa; married Ida Lois Ross, born in 1879 in South Monterey, Michigan; settled in Kansas. Their children were Florence, Thera, Elsie, Ross, Raymond and Helen.
Samuel A. Shaw, born in 1868 in Charleston, Illinois; married Emma Frances Laird, born in 1863; settled in Kansas. They had a daughter named Clara Belle.
Thomas Laird, born in 1813 in Zanesville, Ohio; married Elton Saffle, born in 1817 in Zanesville, Ohio; settled in Kansas. They had a son named Isaac.
