I am researching my family lineage back through the following individuals: 1. Jacob Joseph Werner, my Great-Great Grandfather, who immigrated to this country from Germany with his parents & siblings on 26 July 1847. 2. Caroline Mary "Carrie" McCullough, My Great-Great Grandmother, Wife of Jacob Werner, & daughter of LTC David L. McCullough (McCulloch) of Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania who served with Co. F, 135th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863). 3. John Lyne(s) of Lancashire Co., England, a coal miner, and My Great-Great Grandfather who immigrated to Morris, IL. about 1854 from England via Canada. He served in the Civil War with both Co. F, 11th Illinois Infantry (1861) & Co. I, 69th Illinois Infantry (1862). 4. Samuel Clayton of Lancashire Co., England, My Great-Great Grandfather who was also a coal miner in Grundy County. Please feel free to contact me with corrections or so we can share information and sources.
