Henry C. Huey was the son of Cyrus K. Huey and Elizabeth Ann Dunkelbarger. He was also the identical twin brother to Charles K. Huey. He was b. 5/1/1842, d. 4/14/1909, m. 6/8/1878 to Sylvestia Mae Foster. To this union were born 3 boys, and 1 girl. - Fannie (Frances) Wade (368 KB)

William Ansley Scott was married to Thedosia Jane Gevrez. He fought on the Union side in the Civil War. Photo taken in 1896 at the age of 59. William's parents were Thomas A. Thedosia's father was Theodore Gevrez. He was believed to be a French Hugenot and her mother was possibly Native American and her name was Jane Smithson (unconfirmed). I believe this is Cyrus K. Huey's photo, but I cannot be certain. Cyrus K. Huey is my paternal Great-Grandfather. He was b. May 1, 1842 Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH, d. April 14, 1909 in Hopkins, Missouri. He married (1) Laura M. Wood on March 17, 1861 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH. To this union 5 children were born before her early death: Lotie C., William V., Laura Edith, and Melvin George. (2) Elizabeth Ann Dunkelbarger June 8, 1878 in Culver, Indiana. To this union were born 11 children: Emma Florence, Myrtle Alice, Lulu May, Ethel Della, Mary Jane, identical twin boys Charles K. and Henry C.,Harriett Chloe, Alta Marie and Ruth Maysel. Cyrus K. Huey was in the Civil War, enlisting twice in Indianapolis for the Union. He fought valiantly and survived a bayonette through the chest. He participated in the following engagements: Sherman's Expedition to Vicksburg, Fight at Yago Pass, Chicksaw Bluffs, Arkansas Post, Port Gibson, Hankinson's Ferry, Raymon, Jackson, Champain Hills, Seige at Vicksburg, and Sherman's March to the Sea. Cyrus's parents were James Huey b. 1804 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH and Mary Ann Hahn b. June 25, 1809 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH. Cyrus was one of 12 children (11 boys/1 girl). Some of the names of his brothers are: Milton S., Perry K., David N., Melvin G., James F.,three died in infancy. Cyrus's parents (James Huey and Mary Hahn) were born and married in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH. Cyrus K. Huey had no middle name, his parents simply gave him the initial "K". She had only one full brother, Dr. Albert Edward King. Mary's mother died young from Typhoid Fever. This is a picture of my mom, Margaret Rose Wisdom (Maiden: Robinson). My mom was b. 2/23/1934 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa. She married King Huey Wisdom 6/2/1957 in Bedford, Iowa. Her parents are: Robert Lynn Robinson Sr. and Iva Mable Palmer. She has two siblings: Wynona Caroline Robinson Dobernecker b. 3/11/1915 in Oakland, pottawattamie Co., IA, and Robert Lynn Robinson Jr. b. 7/3/1918 in Oakland, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa. and d. 9/29/1982 in Cass Co., IA. My mom has many fond memories of her childhood days on the farm, and courting and meeting my dad in Iowa. She taught primary school in Iowa for several years before she moved to CA with my dad and older sister in 1965. She continued to teach Kindergarten until c1975 at which time she became a executive bank secretary. Over the years she moved up to the position of Executive Vice President in the Financial Dept. She held that title until her retirement. She is a very active lady today, babysitting my four children (her grandchildren), while I am at work! She is active in the community with her church, loves to do crafts, garden, sew, and inumerable other hobbies! "Chloe", as she was always called, was born 7/31/1894, died 12/6/1980, married 2/21/1914 to Franklin Dale Wisdom Sr. Chloe issued the first Driver's License in Taylor Co., Iowa. This is a picture of my husbands mother, Martha Gillis Sullivan Lynch and her only sibling- William Angus Sullivan. Martha Lynch was b. 6/5/1934 in Wilmington, Los Angeles Co., CA to William Claud Sullivan and Martha Maria Gillis. She united in marraige to Irish born, Patrick Joseph Lynch in 1954. To this union 5 children were born: Maureen Theresa, James Patrick, Loretta Diane, Martha Eileen, and William Timothy (my husband). Martha's only brother, William Angus Sullivan was b. 6/22/1929 and has never married and has no children. There was an older brother who was stillborn in c1919, name unknown. The Sullivan's were Irish and came to the America c1600. The Gillis's were from Prince Edward Island, originating from Scotland. Angus W. Melvin George Huey was born to the parents of Cyrus K. Huey and his first wife, Laura M. Wood. Melvin was b. 1/29/1873, d. 4/13/1924, m. Phebe Isadora Cox 5/1/1895. Melvin and Phebe had four children. Melvin was the 5th, and last child, of Cyrus K. Huey and his first wife Laura M. Wood. Laura died when Melvin was just three years old. Cyrus remarried Elizabeth Ann Dunkelbarger, and to this union eleven more children were born (The 2 eldest dying in infancy). All together, Cyrus had 16 children. Cyrus's parents were James Huey b. 1804 Zanesville, Ohio, d. 3/12/1899 in South Bend, Indiana, married Mary Ann Hahn 5/14/1829. Mary Ann Hahn was b. 6/25/1809 Zanesville, Ohio, d. 11/4/1894 South Bend, Indiana. At this time, have been unable to determine the ancestors of James and Mary Huey. Franklin Dale Wisdom Sr. with his wife Harriett "Chloe" Huey Wisdom, and their son Frnklin Dale Wisdom Jr. Franklin Dale Wisdom Sr. was a brilliant criminal defense attorney, applied for and was accepted to the State Supreme Court. This is a picture of my husband's maternal GG-Grandfather, Zedekiah Willett. He was b. 1/11/1814 in Washington, TN, d. 10-24-1874 in Florence, Lauderdale, Alabama, married (1) Mary Rice in 1/11/1844, and (2) Rosanna B. Munn in 1/15/1859 in Florence, Lauderdale, Alabama. Three children were born to the 1st union: Elizabeth, Molly and William. Three children were born to the 2nd union: Josie, Charlie, and Beulah Brandon (my husband decends from Beulah). The Willett's arrived in this country by 1682 from England. They colonized eary Maryland, and are documented throughout time with wills and taxation. The immigrant ancestor was Edward Willett, who began pewter making at age 14. He apprenticd with a master craftsman for 7 years and had his touch struck and was added toYeomany List of Hall of Worshipful Co. of Pewters in London, England in 1684. Zedekiah's mother was also of English ancestry, and in fact can trace her lineage back to Royal Blue Blood. - Siblings: Chloe, Ethel and Charlie Huey (25 KB)

WIlliam Timothy Lynch and Elizabeth Ann Wisdom were married on 7-30-1993 by the justice of the peace in Lancaster, California. One year later, on 7-30-1994 we were again married in the Catholic Church. This picture was taken on the day our Church Wedding. The ceremony took place at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Palmdale, CA. Julianne was the 2nd wife of Peter, his 1st wife was Eva. Children of Peter and Julianne: Sally Marie Oliver, Jacob, Nancy m (1) Cappis and (2) Shaw, Soloman, and Lydia m (1) Bacon and (2) Rogers. Julianne is believed to have a brother Conrad, parents unknown at this time. If this proves to be true, it would make her the aunt to Mary Cupp who was the d/o Conrad Cupp and Sarah Ann Kester. Mary Cupp is the 1st wife of William Dunkelbarger, William the son of Peter Dunkelberger and his 1st wife Eva. Frank Minor Wisdom was the only surviving child of henry Miller Wisdom and Christina Wade Russell. He was b. 5/5/1856, d. 8/27/1940, and m. 11/21/1878 to Mary Eldora King (always went by "Dora"). Frank Minor was a brilliant criminal defense attorney, applied for and was accepted to the State Supreme Court. He had a law office together with two of his sons (also attorneys). Iva was my Grandmother. She was born 9/6/1892, d. 12/12/1974, married 4/8/1914 to Robert Lynn Robinson Sr. Iva was a shool teacher and then a homemaker. She played beautiful music, and taught her daughters how to play the piano. She sewedthings, and cooked very well. Fred and Ethel had 4 girls, one died at 11 months ( Elizabeth Carolyn Weingarth), another died at 17from pneumonia (Phyllis Weingarth). Two girls survived to adulthood, married and had children. To this union ten children were born: Nancy, Willis Jerome, James, Levi Jackson, Mary Ellen, Florence Green, Dr. William Carroll, Martha, Harriett Minerva and Andrew Buchanon (my husband's G-Grandfather). On March 7, 1894 Thomas brother and sister (McClelland Thomas and Lucretia Ann Thomas)married Robinson brother and sister (Sydney Grant Robinson and Sarah Jessie Robinson). This picture was taken on their Wedding Day. Sydney Grant Robinson married McClelland's sister Lucretia Ann Thomas, and to them were born four children, my line decends from their son Robert Lynn Robinson Sr. McClelland Thomas (known as "Mac") married Sydney's sister Sarah Jessie Robinson (Known as "Jessie"). This is a picture of my maternal Grandfather- Robert Lynn Robinson Sr. The picture was taken @ 4 months of age for his Christening Day. He was the 1st of four children born to Sydney Grant Robinson and Lucretia Ann Thomas. He was born 4/5/1895 in Oakland, Iowa, married 4/8/1914 to Iva Mable Palmer, died 6/30/1968 in Lenox, Iowa. he was a farmer all his life, loved children, animals, and was very easy going fellow. This is a picture of my husband's paternal G-Grandmother, Ellen Kelly Lynch. She was b. 1872 in Tarbert, Co. Kerry, Ireland, to the parents of James Collins and Katherine Kissane Mayvane. She married (1) James Lynch in Ireland and to this union 7 children were born: Michael, Mary, James (my husbands Grandfather), Catherine, John, Jeremiah and Patrick. Upon the early death of her 1st husband, Ellen remarried (2) Thomas Kelly in 1912. To this union, 2 children were born: Peggy, and ?. Ellen Kelly Lynch d. 3/11/1955 in Tarbert, Co. To them were born eleven children, my line decends through ther daughter Chloe. Elizabeth's parents were William Dunkelbarger and Mary Cupp. Elizabeth was the second wife of Cyrus K. Huey. This is a photo of my husnads's maternal G-Grandmother, Ellen B. Delaney. Also in picture- The boy sitting on the stairs is her nephew, name unknown. The baby in the buggy is William Angus Sullivan (her Grandson, my husband's uncle). Ellen was b. abt. 1877 in Dublin, Ireland., d. 1934 in Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona. married Angus William Gillis 12/21/1895 in Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona. Only one child was born to this union, Martha Maria Gillis. The parents of Ellen are unknown, she had numerous siblings...only know the name of one, James Delaney. Laura Edith Huey was b. 1865, m. 5/17/1900 to William F. Johnson. Laura was the older half-sister to my Grandmother: Harriett Chloe Huey Wisdom. Laura was the 3rd of five children born to Cyrus K. This picture is of my dad...King Huey Wisdom. Born 6/25/1929, died 7/14/1993, married 6/2/1957 to Margaret Rose Robinson. King's parents were Franklin Dale Wisdom Sr. ("Dale") and Harriett Chloe Huey Wisdom ("Chloe"). His parents gave him this unique name after members of the family. His first name King was after his paternal grandmother Mary Eldora King ("Dora"), his middle name Huey was given in remembrance of the Huey's: his mother's maiden name. Last, but not least, the surname Wisdom. The name is believed to have originated in England. This picture was taken about 1950. King, my dad,was a brilliant man, with a soft inner side. He could charm his way into anyone's heart, and heaven help you if you got on his bad side! A trait passed on by the Wisdom's! He had a marvelous sense of humor, and spent all his life devoted to teaching. He started his teaching career in Iowa, and then taught for 30 years in California. He was adored by his students. This is a picture of Thomas King b. 12-12-1836 Fayette Co., Ohio and his 2nd wife Villary Propst. Thomas was the son of Issac King IV and Mary Hankins. The King's originated from Flanders with King the Americanized form of the surname De Coninck. The Hankins can be traced to English royalty. Thomas was the oldest of 10 children. Thomas's 1st wife was Louisa Jane Moore, and his daughter from this union, Mary Eldora King Wisdom, is pictured 2nd left. "Dora" as she liked to be called, is my Great-Grandmother.
