One ancestor, Peacock Major, was an officer in several Revolutionary War Philadelphia area militia's -- including the PA Flying Camp of 1776.First wife, Amy Barton, was a Quaker.His father Alexander was very influential in early Abbington area of Philidelphia, and donated money to build the Presbyterian Church there.Very interested in locating other descendants and learning more about these military units and their history.
