Don Juan de Dios Prado was born on the 7th of March in 1837 and was baptized on the 17 of May in 1837 in the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Vega Baja. The godparents were don Pedro (Segundo) Prado and doña Gabriela Prado. His first marriage was on the 9th of November in 1874 in the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Vega Baja to doña Cándida Igaravídez, born in Vega Alta, daughter of don Francisco Igaravídez and doña Cándida Maldonado. Witnesses of the marriage were don Manuel Prado and don Simplicio Rodríguez.
His second marriage was on the 27th of June in 1891 in the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Morovis to doña Candelaria Ramírez de Arellano, born in Morovis. Children of this marriage were Concepción (born on the 8th of December in 1886 in Morovis), Manuel (born in about 1890 in Morovis), Carmelita (born in about 1890 in Morovis), Esperanza (which died at the age of 7on the 13th of October in 1898 in Vega Baja), Belén (was born on the 20th of October in 1894 in Morovis), Ana Fe (was born on the 8th of March in 1895 in Vega Baja) and Isabel (was born in Vega Baja and died at the age of 25 on the 27th of March in 1924). Don Juan Prado died in about 1899 and was buried in Vega Baja.
