| || Notes for Joseph Hodgson:|
*** NOTE ***
The listing of the heirs in the will of Joseph Hodson probated in Hendricks Co, IN in 1855 clearly indicate that the children attributed To Solomon and Cloey (Dear) on page 501 of Hinshaw's are actually the children of his younger brother Joseph. The family composition, ages, marriages, movements to follow Joseph and Ann to Orange Co, IN, then to Hendricks Co, IN further prove this contention. Note that there is no mention in Joseph's will of any children, except Elizabeth, Sarah, Naomi, Eli W, and Mary. Though Hinshaw's entry reflects the minutes of the New Garden Meeting, the entry on page 501 is some 84 pages after the correct entry for Solomon, thus written significantly after the fact, and in error.
