Notes for Johann Peter Ifft: Naturalization:March 5, 1839, Beaver Co., intention filed November 28, 1836, witness, Jacob Burry. Last will and Testament Peter Eft enter June 15, 1868 I, Peter Eft of New Sewickley Township borough of Beaver and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind, memory and understanding to make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former will by at any time heretofore made. As to such estate it hath pleased God to entrust me with I dispose of the same as follows viz; Item I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Anna Eft, all my household and kitchen furniture which we now have in the house also my library of books and my one room downstairs and the back room on the second story and room in the garret to store he grane away in the dwelling house which we now occupy all those said rooms is to be in the east end of my dwelling house and she shall have peaceable possession during her natural life of the same.My wife Anna shall have on third of all the grane of all kind that is raised on my foarm one third of the potatoes one third of the fruit from the orchard and place to store away the same and three cows of her own choice and the cows is to have the same pasture as the farmers cows have on said farm and barn room for hay and straw and stabling for her cows, also three hoggs and a good pen to fatten or keep them in when she want to fatten them also liberty to raise a few piggs one horse saddle and bridle if she chooses to keep the same. Item I ive and bequest unto my son Adam Eft, one spar of horses for labour done after he was twenty-one years of age also he shall have my farm on which we now containing one hundred and twelve acres at the price of three thousand three hundred dollars which he shall pay to my estate one year after my wife Anna's decease say one thousand dollars yearly until paid none of my other children could have the farm at the same price it was on account of my son Adam having worked for me after he was of age. If my son Adam should died without heirs then that portion of the estate he gets from me shall descend to my heirs at law in case my son Adam make any payments on the farm and die without heirs the money shall be paid back to his widow and the farm to descend to my heirs at law share and share alike. My son Adam or whoever may farm my place shall cut and haul the firewood take grane to mill and bring the flour and bran back again and wash for my wife Anna if she is not able to do it. Elizabeth Eft my step daughter now married to Adam Knauff shall have equal share with my children and I further direct that my Administrator shall make sale of my farm in Franklin Township containing twenty twenty seve acres the proceeds to be equally divided amongst my children when they arrive of age. Lastly if any of my children will not except under this my last will and testament then they shall want to go to law, they shall then have twenty dollars and no more that shall be considered the full share. Item my wife Anna shall have the one third of the interest of the money coming to me a my death not including the farm in Franklin Township which will be sold by my administrator My wife Anna shall have cellar room for potatoes and fruit and one half of the garden.
