I started climbing my family tree because I was planning a trip to Ireland in October 2001. It began when I wanted to find where my Gr-Gramp and Gr-Gram were from in Ireland which, in turn, got me thinking that I am losing my family links year after year, because,they are aging and with them is going my family roots and it's history.With alot of help someday I hope to know who my ancestors were so I can pass them onto my children and their children. Too late in life I have realized that it is important for ME to know these things!
I have been brought back together with people I love that I have lost contact with over the years and some of them are taking this trip with me down memory lane and into the past. For their time and support I will always be grateful. And wish to thank them from the bottom of my heart!
Aunt Jean, (my Dad's sister)
Aunt Lois, (my Mom's sister)
and my Mom's cousin Bobby and his wife Betty;
I dedicate this page to you and those that have gone before us, and I thank you for helping me climb the tree.
And, also, to my two sons; Edmund and Richard, and my nieces and nephews who will someday add more branches, I hope you will honor the generations that came before you by caring for this tree and keeping it's roots firmly and lovingly planted.
If anyone notices any wrong dates or misinformation please feel free to e-mail me and I will edit accordingly !:-) And check back often, I will add to this page, leaf by leaf! (haha)
I can also be e-mailed at :
which is where I do most of my puter puttering!!
I was recently contacted by a Kranich cousin:
I would like to personally welcome Robin to our family and to my pages. She resides in Salt Lake, Utah.... home of geneaology! We haven't joined our branches as yet but when we do I will let everyone know.
Robin, I truly appreciate you contacting me and sharing your family information. As I told you I have been sort of laxed in the record keeping department but any information/ pictures/ you find here are your's. One can never have too many "distant" rellies !!! ( lol)When we get your family branches into a e-mailable format we can add it here; if that's okay with you of course!! :-)
