|Thomas Michael McLoughlin|
|The name McLoughlin, or as it used to be spelled MacLochlin finds it's origin in ancient Irish History. Translated the name means "Son of the Dane". My particular branch of the McLoughlin family traces their roots back to Newry, County Down in Northern Ireland.|
My father's family emigrated to America in the mid 1950's and settled in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. It is said that other members of the family settled in Toronto, Canada and California.
Currently, I am able to go back six generations in the McLoughlin Family Tree (circa 1840). Always on the lookout for additional information I invite you to e-mail me if you think there is a family connection.
