Amos (2) was 6 ft 4 in in stature. His wife, born the same day as himself, was daughter of Joshua Pierce, but came and lived six months with her Uncle in the Ithamar Baldwin house. He had 6 sons and 6 daughters. He (Amos) once entertained the whole town at a cost of 400 pounds. The JOHNSON'S were exceptionally subject to consumption. Amos (3) never recovered fully from the effects of British imprisonment at the age of 20. Jese GILBERT was drowned in the Hudson River
