17.Lucinda "Lucy" Peterson, born 1798 in Montgomery Co., GA; died March 17, 1848 in Douglas, Coffee Co., GA.She was the daughter of 34. John Peterson, Jr. and 35. Elizabeth Alford.

April 1854 -- First Coffee County Elections were held at his home.
1834 -- served in Capt. N. J. Holton's Company of Appling County Ga., Militia in the Indian War.

In an article written in "The Douglas Enterprise" dated Thursday, June 24, 1971, titled "Two Lott Brothers Among Coffee's 1854 Leaders" it states:
"In 1819 the Georgia Legislature had established a voting precinct at his (referring to Daniel Lott) Shepherd home, which was at the time in Telfair County.This area around Lone Hill Church was taken into newly formed Coffee County in 1854....."
(This Lone Hill Church is now in West Green, Georgia, per Lourice)
He was on the list of the grand jurors drawn for the June term of court Coffee County, 1854, as Daniel Lott Sr.. ["Ward's History of Coffee County" ... pg. 21]

Jacob Paulk, Jacob Young & Micajah Paulk, Sr., bound in sum of $2000.00 -- Jacob Paulk appointed guardian to Beady Ann Vickers, orphan of Jesse Vickers deceased -- 27 Jan. 1834. [2] page 131 -- Jacob Paulk guardian for Beady Ann Vickers orphan of Jesse Vickers deceased 27 Jan. 1834. [3] page 296 -- Irwin County, Jan. term 1847 -- Jacob Paulk is listed as guardian for Beady Ann Vickers. [4] page 287 -- 24 Jan. 1848 -- Ordered that Jacob Paulk guardian for Beady Vickers be released from his bond as guardian. Jacob must have filed a report of some type regarding Beady's estate from her father because there are quiet a few more entries like the ones above on page 131.Pages 133, 141, 144, 147, this continued until evidently she turned 16 in 1848 even though she and Joel Lott married in 1847 when she was just 15.
