I am researching the Clark family and can only take it back to Harley M. Clark born Jan. 1853 and his wife Lucy Pickard born Dec. 1861.I would like to find Harley's parents and a possible sister, Frances L. (Clark)Lamb. She (b 1865 d 2-4-1950)and her husband, William M. Lamb (b 1848 d 1923) are buried in the same plot as Harley and Lucy in the cemetery in Perry, Michigan.Harley and Lucy had a son, Deward Lyman, born Feb. 1893 in Morris Michigan. There is also a possibility of a brother, as we found a picture of a William Doyle Clark. I now have a great deal of information regarding the Pickards. Thanks to a lot of help from some new found cousins, there is now a LOT of information about the LeBar/LaBar family!Does anyone have any information about the wife of Daniel LaBar, Sr.?Her first name was Elizabeth but we need a maiden name.It was originally listed as Vincent, but there was another marriage to a man with that surname) The Cordray family information is also filling in. The Cordrays had a farm in Eureka, Michigan. A lot of the family stayed in the vicinity of Eureka, and many are buried there. This sometimes wild and amusing family originally made a midnight escape from Ohio after a slight mishap in Daniel's black smith shop. The story goes that he lost his temper with a customer and tossed him into his fire. Then there were the drunken horse rides by some of the children through the town.No wonder there was a break in the family ties..I can't imagine those boys were too popular with most of the locals. I am working on the Hamilton, Hamel/Hammell and Hagan/Hagen/Hagoe(poss. O'Hagan) family lines as well. The Hamels and Hagans came to Michigan from Canada. The Hamels were originally Amel and I believe they came from France. The Hagans came from Ireland, what area I don't know (There is a mention of Ireland County). I would also like to expand my Leveck family information. They were also from French Canada. One of the daughters, Hannah, married Charles Hagan in Canada and they later moved to Bennington, Michigan. Any help would be appreciated and I am willing to share information with those interested. Feel free to browse the information and enjoy the photos.I will continue to update the information as I receive it.
