Also need help locating Sukey MORRIS.When my father was a child, he was told a story of how Sukey MORRIS, his Gr Gr Grandfather, was given a pecan from one of Andrew Jacksons men on the way home from the Battle of New Orleans.Sukey planted the pecan and it grew to be 'The World's Largest Pecan Tree'.It is in the Natches Trace State Park near Lebanon, Tn.It has a name plate on it to back up my fathers claim.I have not seen any reference to Sukey MORRIS until FTM 3.4 was released. It has a Sukey MORRIS listed inmarriage records.I could find no reference of this though.
I'm also trying to find info on James Alexander McQUEEN b abt 1880.It was said he was from the SC/NC area.He later moved to Fayette Co, Tn.
