I am researching the Oakey family, and would like to make the connection to Col John Okey of Cromwells army, he was a regicide, also all connections to the family tree in Alvescot Oxfordshire England where the Oakey's have lived since 1804 when Alexander Oakey came here from Bibury, although his home town was Quennington Gloucestershire.
