The primary focus of my research at this time is the O'Donnell lineage. My father was Lawrence Edward O'Donnell of Pawtucket, RI born 1920, died 1977. His Father was Edward Francis O'Donnell, I believe Edward (born 1881? died 1944?) was also from Pawtucket, RI and married to Catherine Lynsky (1881-1943). Edwards father was Michael (1869?-1910) and was Married to Ellen May (?-?) both were believed to have been born in Ireland. I do not know either of their ports of debarcation, nor their originating counties or parishes, nor their points of embarcation in America. I am very new to geneology and am just starting to gather information. I believe that both Edward Francis and Michael O'Donnell may be buried in the old St. Mary's Cemetary at the corner of George and Grace streets in Pawtucket, RI (source Rhode Island cemetary records PW008, found on-line) In addition to the O'Donnell lineage, I would be interested in my Paternal grandmothers lineage which may include the surnames Lynsky, McClay, and Macauley. The McClay and Lynsky names have been confirmed by oral records of relatives. The Macauley link is speculative based on a possible link of Mary McClay (1852-1943) to William Patrick McClay (1810?-?) and Jane Macauley (1813?-?)source #24067.001, source type: Pedigree Chart, Number of pages: 2, Yates Publication Archives. Possible counties of origin from oral sources are believed to be the counties Mayo and Donegal, but have not been confirmed as yet.
