I am searching for the ancesters of Michael Ott Sr., born in 1773 and died some time after 1850 in what was then Cabell County, Virginia. Michael Ott was married to Catherine Pence on August 22, 1798, in Orange Co. VA.
The couple had 9 children. Their names are as follows:
Julia A. Ott - b. 1800, William Ott - b. 1801, Elizabetth Ott - b. 1806, Michael D. Ott Jr. - b. 1808, David Vitalis Ott - b. May 17, 1810, Simeon Ott - b. 1815, Sam Ott - birthdate unknown, and 2 unknown females.
Michael D. Ott Jr. had 8 children: James W. Ott - b. 1838, Addison Ott - b. 1842, Lockert Ott - b. 1845, Samuel - b. 1849, Baby Ott - b. December 12, 1855, Edwin Ott - b. 1854, Clowney Ott - 1856.
