| Eddie E Pahuski W8883 Deer Run Trail Cambridge,WI 53523 | Greetings, I am researching the family ancestry of on my father's side of the family --- Pahuski and formerly Pachuski as well as on my mother's side of the family --- Machalica. My father's grandfather, William Vincent Pachuski was born on April 15, 1874 in Warsaw, Poland.He was married to Anna Halicki and they had nine children, Bennie, Willie, Stella, Charles, Blanch, Wanda, Vicki, Helen and Stanley.Bennie, the oldest child, was may grandfather, and he married Blanch Grens in Benton, Illinois before they migrated to Chicago.Bennie and Blanch had two sons, Stanley and Edward, my father. My mother's father was John Machalica who was born on June 21, 1879 in Austria/Slovakia.John was married to Theresa, who is also of Slovakian decent, but whose maiden name I do not know.John and Theresa had 6 children, John, Anastasia, Theresa, Joanna, Elizabeth and Mary (my mother). My mother and father met and were married on the South side of Chicago in the back of the yards neignborhood of Cook County. Their families both trace to Pennsylvania before migrating to Illinois. |
