I am researching the McCool families and Thomas families of Paris, Texas.My parents were Clarence Ray McCool and Myrtle Mae Thomas.I have traced the McCool roots back to the 1600's to Ireland.I have traced my mother's roots back to her grandparents but have ran into a few stumbling blocks after that.Her parents were Wiley Zackery (Zack) Thomas born in Murfreesboro, TX in 1900 and Effie Daniels born in Howland, TX in 1905.I do not know where they were married and have not been able to locate a marriage certificate.There may have been a previous marriage for Zack.I do have additional information on Effie's family.Zack's parents were William Zackery Thomas and Mary Dee Smith.I have not been able to locate any further information on this family.If you have any information on any members of this family please let me know.I would appreciate any information you can contribute.
