The three brothers were all professional musicians and left Germany during the time of the Franco-Prussian War in Europe. They all settled in the Worthing area and were married and raised their families there working as musicians.John married Lavinia Street of Brighton in 1874 and they raised their family in Worthing.Lavinia's parents were Sarah Street of Brighton and Peter Thulluson. "Stuart" family - William Stuart married Mary Taylor in Chelsie, London in1841 and raised their family in Thorpe, Surrey, England. William's father's name was Charles Stuart. | |
