Variations of the Perrizo name from the past: Pariseau, Dalpe dit Pariseau, Parizeau, Parisot, Delpee, Delpue, Delpesches. Names on the distaff side that are of particular interest are: DeMarce, Demars, Demarse, Demers (in Canadian records), and Goodnature. The migration of the Perrizo ancestors began with Jean Dalpe dit Pariseau, who was born in Rodez, France in 1648, and came to Quebec City in New France (Canada) in 1665. It is assumed the Pariseau families left Quebec Province in the early 1840s (1842 according to a 1900 US Census Record covering one of the Pariseau descendents) and resided in the Schenectady, New York area until the early 1850s when they moved to Friendship Township in the Fond du Lac, Wisconsin area. In the last half of the 1860s, they moved to Delevan, Faribault County, Minnesota.Earlier ancestors of Jean Dalpe dit Pariseau's father, Jean Delpee, are believed to have had descendents who came to this country at other times, but we have not been able to fill out those branches yet.My brother, Mark John Perrizo, and several other Perrizo relatives and I are working on a Perrizo family history and ancestory compilation which we hope to publish in a year or two. We are also planning to have a family reunion shortly after the publication of the latter document. Should you have interest in either or would like to exchange information, please contact me.
