my great great grandfather about 1914-18 -he went to Europe to fight in WW1 where he got close enough to London to meet Dora Spreckley whom he too back to Australia to be his war bride. In WW2 their eldest daughter Betty Clark did the same in reverse, marrying a Royal Marine who took her back to England. - White family (32 KB)
