The Robert Perry Family Search Page
Hello; My name is Bob Perry I began searching for my family November 1997. With much help from my family I've found some interesting things. The family names I'm looking for are... Perry, Odgers, Currie, McArthur, Mac Donald, Stevens, Saxon, Kinzel, Bawden, Smith and Groehler. It seems some of my family came from Penzance and Cornwall England, somewhere in Scotland and Sweden. From what I know in the early 1800's into Ripley,Canada or Michigan's U.P. They then moved to Marquette County Keweenaw and Houghton County area and then to Iron County. Kinzel's were in Tawas area of Mi. in the late 1800's. The Currie's may have ran boarding houses from Greenland to Negaunee from about the 1870's to 1920's. A Mary Elizibeth Bawden was born on Isle Royale, and Fred Stevens was a machinest in the iron mines. Fred's Wife Lena Kinzel was a nanny for a Dr. in Houghton Co. and great-grandfather Perry was said to have ran a bar in Chrystal Falls Mi. untill about 1915. His parents were Thomas & Anne I'll be glad to share what I've learned. | The Robert Perry Family Search Page Updated June 4, 2011 |
