On the 30th of January, Mr. Willis Foster, of Bennington Township in his 6_d year. The death of the two old citizens above recorded (being cousins) presents curious coincidence in their birth having taken place in the same county, their death in the same county, and that they both fell asleep almost at the same hour. In their politics they conscent adherents of the Democrat party. When their parting hour approached they awaited death without murmur having by upright lives and conscent adherence to the faith they professed, prepared for that summons which, sooner or later all must answer. Mr. Foster died of a very brief sickness and weighing over three hundred pounds in the coffin, is supposed to have been the largest corpse ever buried in Licking County.

207.There is a discrepancy between the date recorded for the birth of Michael Kidwiler. The church register gives the year as 1783. On the tombstone his birth is recorded as Nov. 1779. Further is the age given by Michael to the 1830 census. He states that he is the head of the household with a male 50-60 years of age in residence. This would mean that he would most likely have been born between 1770-1780. His tombstone records his death as 51 y 2 months.

241.Born probably in Maryland or somewhere else along the upper Potomac River. Parentage is speculative. Records of Washington Co PA and of the respective families suggest strongly that a James Craven was the father of five sons in that area at the time of the Revolutionary War of whom Armon was the youngest. The given name "Armon" appears to be a modification of the original name "Harmanus" which appears in Washington County records. If so, this name is of Dutch origin. If so, the mother and not the father was probably of Dutch descent. Name spelled Warman, Arminias, Harmen, Herman, Armon, Aaron in various deeds.
