I have worked on the following lines in the past:PHILLIPS:Georgia, Alabama, Indian Territory, & Oklahoma SHIELDS:Mississippi, Indian Territory, Oklahoma, & Texas HENDRICKS/HENDRIX:Mississippi, Indian Territory, & Oklahoma RINN:Heuchelheim,Germany; Pittsburg, PA; Kansas, & Oklahoma CLAIR:St. Etienne, France; Silkville, Kansas; & Oklahoma FULTZ:Carter Co., Kentucky; Kansas, and Oklahoma I have been away from genealogy for many years and have only recently resumed.I am particularly working more on the Shields line at the moment. My great grandfather, Joseph Shields, married Fannie Hendricks in Banner County, MS, abt. 1880.They lived in Paris, MS, and Watervalley, MS, before moving to Indian Territory in what was to become Haskell County.According to one of his daughters, he was born about 1860.Apparently, after settling in Indian Territory, the family maintained no ties with family in Missippi.None of Joseph's children I interviewed many years ago knew anything of their father's other relatives.
