I am researching the PICKETT family history.Also interest in Surnames of Raby/Walters/King.I am stuck at ABNER PICKETT, f/o David Pickett, gf/o John Ellis Pickett.Unconfirmed information indicates ABNER was born in South Carolina,but he lived, and died, in Shelby County, Alabama, as did the next three generations.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
