Eleanor is buried in the New Salem Cemetery in Walnut, MS. Eleanor and her husband William travelled from N.C. into Tennessee around 1815 with Eleanor's family. It is believed they travelled through the Cumberland Gap, then resided in Rutherford Co., Tn, then later into Bedford Co., Tn. Some of Eleanor and William's kin resided in Murfreesboro and Shelbyville, Tn.
Shortly after the death of Nellie's mother Ursula, she and William moved the family into the newly opened Indian Cession Territory.

Notes for ISAAC BURLESON:
Isaac lived in the family home in Rutherford after his fathers death, and remained there until he had died and was buried next to his father David. His mother Ursula is also buried there, but there is no headstone for her.
He served in Pvt. Jones Co.,Tennessee Mounted Infantry in the War of 1812.

Marion Franks claims that he remembered his grandmother very well. He said that Usley was very dark complected and the people that were around this Weatherford family were also Indians.
In 1851, Ursey or Ursy and her husband Thomas resided in Wayne Co., N.C. This information is stated in papers from the historical society that JoAnne Brandon had sent for. JoAnne has also stated that the info. collected from Harriett states that her grandfather was William Weatherford and that he was the grandson of Red Eagle.

Notes for WILLIAM BERRY:
William supposedly had died when a rock struck his plow and kicked back, hitting him in the chest, therefore causing his diaphragm to possibly paralyze which caused to be fatal.
William's farm was located near Cromwell's Crossroads, near Lutts, Tennessee which is located in the southern portion of Wayne Co., Tn. Beside being a farmer, he may have also been a merchant.
Descendant information on William I have received from Ken Meredith.
The family appears on the 1830 Wayne County census. The census shows one male 20-30 (William); one male under 5 (William A.); one female 20-30 (Sarah); and 2 females under 5 (Margaret and Rebecca).
The 1840 Wayne County census shows William's family as one male 30-40 (William); one male 10-15 (William A.); 2 males 5-10 (John and Joseph); one male under 5 (James); one female 30-40 (Sarah); one female 10-15 (Margaret); one female 5-10 (Rebecca); and one female under 5 (Elizabeth).
The 1850 Wayne County census shows William, 43, a farmer, real property valued at $800; Sarah, 44; William A., 21; Maragret, 22; Rebecca, 20; John, 18; Joseph, 17; Elizabeth, 15; James, 13; and Nancy, 9 years old.
