1.William Bond lived in VA in the early 1700's.His descendents scattered to KY, MO, and TX. 2.Previously, the "Kentucky Pierces Pierce" report pulled together a number of Pierce familys that lived in central Kentucky in the early 1800's.In order to get them on the same report, an artificial name: "Pierce, Kentucky Pierces" was used. Many of these as yet unconnected lines used the same uncommon names such as Ephraim, Stanton and Jermiah, and so were hypothesized to be related.Through the actions of Brad Pierce, a common ancestor was located for 4 of the the Kentucky Pierces families and combined. The "Virginia to Kentucky Pierces Pierce" report now only includes 4 lines that may or may not to be related, but are listed here because they give rise to many of the Pierce records in KY. William Pierce b.~1705 of Orange Co., VA is the patriarch of many of the pioneer Pierce families in central Kentucky.Previously, I had referred to him as "other Pierce" as the hypothetical father of William and Jeremiah Pierce of the Wythe Co., VA area and KY.His descendents are given within the Virginia to Kentucky Pierces Pierce report.
