|I am proud to facilitate the family tree of my ancestors and their branches stretching back from modern day, to struggling early American immigrants, to royals.AS A WORKING SITE, ERRORS ARE INEVITABLE, SO CORRECTIONS/EDITS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED!! |
My father Marino `Marty` PIPPI was a first-generation American. His parents, Francesco PIPPI and Orsolina LUCCHESI separately emigrated from Italy shortly after the turn of the 20th century. She and Francesco later met and married in Stockton, CA.She said she descended from the lost Etruscian culture (but hardly verifiable!) My father once mused that he thought our Pippi line came down from King Pepin. Ironically, I recently found a lineage to King Pepin--but through mom`s line!
My mother Lillian Patricia (TROXELL), on the other hand, comes from a long line of American immigrants dating back to the 1600s--Quakers, French Huguenots (Protestants), Catholics, Jewish, Calvinists--you name it. HENRY HOWARD MIKELS and ANNA MAE HOBSON were her grandparents from INDIANA. This line is from CHRISTIAN MICHAEL/MICHEL of Bavaria. Christian`s marriage to Maria Barbara EISENHOWER eventually placed a distant presidential leaf on the tree. The HOBSONs in America begin with GEORGE HOBSON (b. 1688) and ELIZABETH LINDLEY.
My TROXELL/EASTON genes kicked in when grandma Luzelle MIKELS married Emory Ellsworth `Al` TROXELL.His parents were CHARLES OSCAR TROXELL and BELMA EASTON . This Trachsel/Troxell line emigrated from Bavaria in the early 1700s.My Easton Line in America stems from THOMAS EASTON (D'ESTAING) AND SARAH WHITLOCK. Their daughter, Exoney Easton (m. Achilles Broadhead), was mother-in-law to the niece of Dabney Carr, who married the sister of another American president, Thomas Jefferson.
