Descendants of William ForesterUpdated January 30, 2002
1988 Finney Rd
I am researching the Forester family from Scotland.According to
David F. earlier register(originial in possession of Lena Bell Forester-David's great-granddaughter) William came to America in King George's army in the Revolutionary War, and never returned.Since William Forester was in King George's army, there is no record of his arrival in the United States, nor has any date concerning where he was living in NC, nor has a record of his marriage to Jannet McKie been found. No record of why he received a land grant in Wythe County,VA has been found.
Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share the
information that I have.
