Robert Parke made a will dated May 14, 1660, in which he calledhimself Robert Parkes of Mistick near New London. He named hisoldest son, William, executor and gave him all his house andlands in Mistick on both sides of the river, as well as themeadow and upland, totaling 170 acres. He left fifty pounds inmerchantable goods to his son Samuel, to be paid in Boston, ifhe should go to Roxbury within seven years to demand it.Otherwise, it would be disposed of as his executor saw fit. Hisson, William, as oldest son would have two thirds of his wholeestate and his son, Thomas, the other third.
