MATTI [1858-1925]& SOFIA[KOYKKARI][1862-1916].
They had fifteen children. Matti[2/1883-1969], Fiina[Yline][1883-1958], Manu[1884-1948], Nikolai[1886-1958], Manta[1888-1959], Hilma[Heikkila][1892-1945], Anttoni[1894-19??], Johannes[1895-1898], Rafael[1892-1956], Jutto[1899-1991], Vaino[1900-1977], Arvi[1902-1947], Senja[Haukkala][1903-1986], Kalle[1905-1971], Vilttori[1906-1966]
Of the 15 children, Matti moved to the USA in 1900, married Aliina Wiitala in 1910 in MN, later moved to E. Jaffrey,NH, Townsend,MA and finally Ashby,MA.Senya married Kalle Haukkala, moved to the USA and raised their family in MI.
MICHAEL[dob abt.1775] & MARY ANNE[1794-1871]
They relocated to Flagstaff P.L,Somerset, Maine from the Alsace-Lorraine region of Germany/France about 1830. Michael had been a bodyguard for Napoleon Bonaparte and while in America, as part of Bonaparte's entourage during the Louisiana Purchase, fell in love with the country and decided to relocate his family. Their sons, JACOB[1814-1900]& LEWIS N.B.[1822-1908], were born in France, and their daughters, KATHERINE[1830-1886] and MARY ANNE[abt.1838-aft.1879], were born in Maine.
The ANNUAL KERSHNER FAMILY REUNION is always held on the THIRD Saturday of JULY.

They had eight children, Aili[Rajala][1886-1918], Walter[1890-19??], Elina/Alina/Aliina[Ekola][1894-1958], Lillian[Malk]1896-1952?], John[1897-1997], Fannie[1898-19??], Hanna[Wainio][1900-1992] and Herman[1906-1961].
Correction:Timmonen should be spelled Timonen and will be updated with the next database update.
