James Thad Hardin, 73, of Rochester, died unexpectedly early Monday Morning, 27 March 2000, in The Medical Center, Beaver.
Born 31 January 1927, in Clifton, South Carolina, a son of James Daniel and Cora Oxford Hardin, he was a residence of Rochester since 1948 and a bricklayer with Union Local No 7, New Brighton, for over 50 years. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a life member of Brick Layers and Allied Craftsmen of New Brighton (B.A.C.)
He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Carcaise Hardin, 26 December 1997; A brother John Bynum Hardin, and four sisters, Lillian Hardin, Faye Stone, Naomi Nolen and Luvenia Pridmore.
Surviving are a son James D. Hardin, Pittsburgh; three daughters and two son-in-laws, Linda Jones White and Millard White, Brighton Township; Teresa Colleen Rudnicki and Tom Edwards, Rochester, and Julia C. and Michael Owens, Centerville, Indiana; 11 Grandchildren, Timothy Jones, Chippewa; Thomas Rudnicki and his fiancée, Pamela Clawson, Carnegie; Paul and Andrew Rudnicki, Rochester; Alicia Hardin, Canonsburg; Scott Randall, Knoxville, Tennessee, Jeremy Randall, Fairfield, Ohio; Debbie Golf, Hurricane, West Virginia; Linda Carothers, Ellwood City; Rebecca Fitzgerald, West Middlesex, and Charles Jones, Patterson Heights; a brother-in-law, Robert Tunno, New Brighton; three sisters-in-law, Blanche and Richard Tunno, Rochester; JoAnne Carcaise, Rochester, and Angeline and Frank Carcaise, Daugherty Township, and sever nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME, 333 Third Street, Beaver, where a funeral service will be held by the Rev. De. Marshall Davis, pastor of the First baptist Church of Rochester.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty township.

Full military rites will be conducted by the Beaver County Special Unit.
