Elizabeth Chrisman, do of Jonathan Chrisman and Jane Watterson, never lived in North Carolina, nor did she ever live in Kentucky.She grew up in Montgomery County, VA, after her marriage on January 28, 1818, to John Taylor they lived for a while in Lynchburg, then returned to Montgomery County.
DOCUMENTATION:John Taylor is in the 1850 census in Floyd County, VA, married to Elizabeth Chrisman d/o of Jonathan Chrisman, with children James Thomas, George Pearis, Rachel, and Mary Jane.Report does not list older boys Charles, Benjamin or David.They moved to Floyd County after 1842. When John died 1n the 1850's, Elizabeth (died after 1860) took the younger children and moved to Indiana (1860 census).James Thomas (my great-grandfather, listed her as parent when he enlisted for the Civil War.Both John and Elizabeth are listed on James Thomas Taylor's and Charles Taylor's death certificates.
